DIRTnewz Racing VICTORIOUS at SCORE Terrible's Primm 300 Desert Race

Orange, California (September 10, 2007) Tested to the extreme by the rugged Southern Nevada desert, DIRTnewz Racing's father-daughter duo, Tim and Brittany Sanchez, led the FOX Racing Shox / Monster Energy / BFGoodrich sponsored 5-1600 Baja Bug to victory lane at the SCORE Terrible's PRIMM 300.

Racing in the premier desert racing series worldwide, SCORE International, DIRTnewz Racing finished the 216-mile 3-lap race with an 8 minute 10 second lead over Mario Reynoso of Tijuana, Mexico. The SCORE 5-1600 class has long been dominated by teams fielded from both Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico.

Tim Sanchez commented, "This has been a long time coming. We've won in other series, but winning in the SCORE Desert Series is outstanding. Competing against Mexico's Mario Reynoso and the others, all who are the best 5-1600 racers in the world, is why we race in this highly competitive 5-1600 class. The prep was perfect and the entire DIRTnewz Racing chase crews executed our race plan to perfection. This is a team victory, it's rewarding for everyone including all of our sponsors. We couldn't do it without them and our crew."

The DIRTnewz Racing 5-1600 race car is prepped by ORAF's Raul Solano. Over the past 6 months, he and his crew have made many significant upgrades to the race car. Working closely with ARTIGAS Transaxles Kingpin -- Danny Artigas, ORAF dialed in the perfect combination for this race.

The race strategy was executed as planned as the chase crews followed the #553 DIRTnewz Racing race car via ION Earth Satellite Telemetry. Web surfers following the race online were directed to the ION Earth website where they were able to follow the #553 in near real-time, via low-orbit satellite telemetry.

"Utilizing the ION Earth Technology allowed chase crews to track the speed, route and GPS location of the race car at all times from inside each chase truck without Internet access. Our crews always knew exactly where the race car was whether stopped or moving," explained DIRTnewz Racing Crew Chief Mike Groscup.

"Traditionally, this race has a high rate of non-finishers. The course is always very tough. We had no flats on our BFGoodrich Tires and the new FOX Racing Shox package performed excellent. Tim's car is very close to perfection, but we are still in the process making a few changes to make it even better. The car drove very well," said DIRTnewz Racing /ORAF's Raul Solano.

Exiting the race car at the finish line and drinking an ice cold Monster Energy M-80 drink, a smiling 22-year old Brittany Sanchez said, "We had a perfect race. The course was great! My sister, Christine and I are racing at the upcoming Powder Puff race in this same car and you can be sure Dad expects us to win. Wow, this is a big win here at dirtnewzwinners_01 the SCORE Primm 300 and everyone out there was terrific!"

Simply driven by the passion of off road motorsports, DIRTnewz Racing is a family affair shared amongst a group of close friends. Team members from Colorado to Ensenada all converged at the SCORE Terrible's PRIMM 300 and by the day's end, they captured a very sweet SCORE Desert Series victory.

"ORAF's Rulo Solano really put the exclamation point on the race team performance. His vast experience and attention to detail definitely gave us the edge," said Team Owner/Driver, Tim Sanchez.

"Racing in the desert is an incredible feeling that not many people outside the realm of the sport can grasp. Winning in the desert at the top level such as a SCORE International race is even better. But racing and sharing this kind of victory with your kids is just something that you cannot measure. Watching my young daughter climb from the race car and pull off her helmet with a smile that was a mile long is...well, it's a parent's ultimate trophy."

DIRTnewz Racing is slated for action at the M.O.R.E. Powder Puff race on October 13, 2007 in Barstow, California. Brittany Sanchez (22) and Christine Sanchez (15) will charge through the desert in the FOX Racing Shox / Monster Energy / BFGoodrich Tires sponsored 5-1600 car, hoping to repeat a spectacular performance as demonstrated at the SCORE Terrible's Primm 300.
