Revtec Race Engineering has officially entered in the Florida Region SCCA's 2nd running of the Kumho Tires Tropical 12 Hours of Homestead.

The Kumho Tires Tropical 12 Hours of Homestead will be held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on April 9 and 10, 2004. This will be a 12 Hour endurance race with cars eligible from SCCA's Improved Touring, Showroom Stock, Touring, Spec Miata, Spec Racer Ford, and Super Production categories. Practice and qualifying will be on Friday, April 9 while the start of the race will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, April 10.

Revtec Race Engineering will not be entering their trusty White/Green ITS Acura Integra. Instead, they will be entering "Old Reliable", their Blue/Orange ITS Datsun 240Z; a car with an extensive endurance racing heritage and a top contender to win this historic event.

TheRaceSite.com will be Revtec's primary partner for this race. TheRaceSite.com provides exclusive coverage of sportscar racing across North America. A full diary race report of The Revtec Race Engineering adventures at the 12 hour event will appear on TheRaceSite.com for the 40,000 unique visitors to see.

"We welcome the opportunity to become further involved grassroots racing and expand our coverage. For several years we have supported the ARRC at Road Atlanta, and this opportunity with Revetec allows us to increase even further." - states Wayne Nonnamaker of TheRaceSite.com

Coverage of this event will be in TheRaceSite.com, SportsCar and Grassroots Motorsports magazines. Possible television coverage may take place as well.
