Zander Radio Systems Partners with DC Region as Contingency Sponsor

January 14, 2004: Zander Radio Systems (, a manufacturer and designer of radio systems providing racers with clear and concise communication at a fair price, and the Washington DC Region of the Sports Car Club of America announced today that Zander Radio Systems would return as a contingency sponsorship program for the 6th Annual Kumho Tires 12 Hours at the Point. The event, the longest SCCA-sanctioned perennially held amateur endurance race for sports cars and sedans, will be held June 4-5, 2004 on challenging Summit Point Raceway. The Region expects that it will start the maximum number of cars allowed under SCCA rules.

Zander Radio Systems has always supported grassroots races during the fourteen years we have been designing, manufacturing and installing our brand of radio systems," said Dave Zander, President of Zander Radio Systems. Zander, has yet to attend the once-around-the-clock event, added, "I've heard many good things about the event and one of these days, I'll make the haul to Summit for it."
