According to SuperBikePlanet.com, the BMW Boxer Cub championship will
return to the MotoGP championship as a support race for the U.S. GP
in July 2005. However, it is important to note the championship was
eliminated by BMW since their newest sport bike does not use the Boxer
engine, but an inline four cylinder.

Today, Dorna and Shanghai International Circuit (SIC), announced their agreement to run the MotoGP
Championship for seven years.


The first race is set for 2005, along with the return of the U.S. GP in Laguna Seca. This move is further
proof of the strength of MotoGP, which will not consist of 17 rounds (one more than last year).

Colin Edwards finished a second day of testing at the Sepang circuit in
Malaysia today.  Both riders completed a few laps on the 2005-spec
prototype YZR-M1 but spent the majority of the day testing Michelin tyres
