Larini says yes to Naples

Nicola Larini has leant his support to the Naples street circuit. The new 0.7 mile circuit, similar in layout to Avus, is set to boast some of the best safety features and facilities.

Neal and Blair gun for independents title

Mark Blair has fired a salvo at leading independents campaigner Matt Neal. The Vauxhall Vectra Challenge champion believes that he has a good chance of taking the tile from Neal. Meanwhile, Matt Neal is aiming to become the first independent to win a race - and take the stlg250,000 prize pot for doing it. He has lapped within 0.1 seconds of the Nissan of Aiello.

Boullion tops testing

New Williams Renault driver, Jean-Christophe Boullion, has topped testing at Jerez, followed by the Honda of Thompson and the Fords of Menu & Reid. The drivers were within half a second from 1st to 4th. Paula Cook failed to record a time.

Volvo given deadline

TWR Volvo have been given till the end of February by TOCA to finalise their driver line up. Three drivers are in contention for the remaining seat - Harvey, Radermecker and Nilsson.
