Fresh from their giant-killing 10th place finish and emphatic class victory earlier this month in the opening race of the Empower 6 Hour Endurance Series at Pukehohe, New Zealand, Team PETRONAS Primax is aiming for another outstanding performance at Taupo this Saturday, 24 May. Their 1600cc Class B Honda Civic is up against over twenty cars in all, of which sixteen are in the larger-capacity classes.

Farique Hairuman said: "I'm sure our Honda Civic will suit the short tight Taupo circuit - three hours is going to be a real endurance test for the drivers of the bigger cars."

Mashlino Buang said: "I'm looking forward to this - getting past traffic is going to sort the men from the boys here."

Operations manager Richard Lester said: "We had a great start to the season - now we must consolidate. We have a fine package to get us to the finish in good shape."

Team Principal David Wong said: "It's a smaller field of just 23 cars for this weekend's Three Hour Endurance Race. It'll be an extremely busy and interesting race with non-stop traffic and no margin for error."
