Venezuelan Barber Dodge Pro Series Driver Milka Duno became the first woman in the history of the North American Ferrari Challenge to win a race this past weekend at Road Atlanta. Duno is racing in the F355 division. 2000 affords Duno a busy race schedule as the former Skip Barber Race Series competitor is also racing in the Women’s Global GT Challenge in addition to the Barber Dodge Pro Series and the North American Ferrari Challenge

Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia continues to build his lead in the prestigious British Formula 3 series. Pizzonia scored a second place finish at Silverstone, giving him an eight-point margin over second place. Pizzonia, a veteran of the Skip Barber Race Series, started the race from fifth, but was in second place by the conclusion of the first lap. Despite a considerable effort, he was unable to get past Takuma Sato for the lead, and thus settled for the second-place finish.

In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series race at Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain Colo., Skip Barber trained drivers Jack Sprague and Dennis Setzer captured third and fourth place respectively. Sprague continues to lead fellow Skip Barber grad Mike Wallace in the title points chase for the series.
