The first round of European Alfa Challenge, the international series reserved to the Alfa 147 GTA Cup, finished today (Sunday 28 March) at the Italian circuit of Monza. After two beautiful races (race 1 yesterday, Saturday 27 March, race 2 today Sunday 28) in the head of overall classification there are two young drivers under 25 years old that won the races: the Dutch Rory Bertram (winner in race 1) and the Italian Simone Iacone (winner in race 2). These drivers are leading the Championship in front of the expert Andrea Larini (7th in race 1 after a "stop and go" because he was too quick on the start, and 2nd in race 2). Next round of European Alfa Challenge, six races for this championship, will be in Valencia (Spain), from 17 to 18 April.
