Monaros are firmly in control of the Bathurst 24-Hour race with seven hours left to run. Garth Tander is at the wheel of the 427# car in position one, with Greg Murphy in 05# just 5.5 sec. behind.

With 368 laps completed, the Garry Rogers Motorsport team has built a 10-lap lead over third-placed Porsche 54# currently driven by Paul Morris.

Martin Short has fought hard to lift the Mosler MT900R into fifth place, recording the fastest lap of the race -- 2:15.10 -- on lap 333.
