Peter Brock has made a great start in his bid to win a 10th Bathurst enduro, with his 7.0 litre Holden Monaro in the lead after 100 laps and 4 hours 39 minutes of racing.

The 100 lap mark was reached with the field under Safety Car control, while recovery crews collected the Holden GTS of Kiwi Fabian Coulthard.

Outside the outright contenders in Class A and Class B, the leaders in the production touring car classes have held their positions for an extended time.
