The Rally of Canberra got going again today under blue skies, and that was a great relief to everybody. The stages dried out to an extent, and today being Saturday the enthusiastic Canberra spectators made their way out to the stages to cheer their favourite drivers on. And the regular favourites, Possum Bourne and Neal Bates were at it again as Neal and Coral had the Corolla WRC back on the road. The pair were on the pace straight away even though they were out of contention for outright honours the Canberra driver was setting consistent second fastest times, only being beaten by Katsu Taguchi once all day. 'We have had a much better day today - we have managed to stay on the road!' remarked Neal tonight. The Toyota driver admitted to a bad tyre choice for the run at EPIC tonight.
