Rally Racing at the Grand Canyon: Land of the Hualapai
Dec 11-15, 2003 Laughlin, NV
Laughlin,NV- The Ramada Express International Rally VI returns to Laughlin, NV December 11-14, bringing amazing rally competition over the ancestral Arizona Lands of the Hualapai Indian Nation in northwestern Arizona.
Fifty-four top American and Asian teams arrive at the event's traditional headquarters, Laughlin's Ramada Express Hotel-Casino, this weekend for the USAC-sanctioned FIA-listed Ramada Express International Rally, America's longest, toughest, richest endurance rally event.
Also called the Grand Canyon Rally or Rally USA, this action-packed, motor sport grabbed worldwide attention during its spectacular run-in-a-blizzard opening in 1998. Six years later, it remains America's longest, toughest competition rally on the calendar. Its course challenges the best rally teams as its 225 competition miles twist and wind through dirt and gravel mountain and forest roads. Exhausted drivers and co-drivers endure northwestern Arizona's oft-changing winter weather during three long days of competition driving.
