This week, international crews have confirmed their participation in the Rally Corona America.

The international teams come with the clear goal of fighting for victory and to show their level against the Mexican teams.

Headed by Douglas Gore / Mark Nelson of Jamaica, winners of the last edition, national champions of Jamaica, and of NACAM, they will be driving a Mitsubishi Evo V.

From Costa Rica we have again Arnoldo Rodríguez and Jorge Marchena in a Subaru Impreza, Ernesto Rodríguez / Alan Rodríguez in a Toyota Yaris, Andrés Montalto / Max Rohrmoser in a Toyota Celica and Amadeo Quiroz / Amadeo Quiroz in the second Toyota Celica, all running in the Costa Rica National Championship.

Ramón Ferreyros / Diego Vallejo from Peru, twice Peruvian National Champion and with plenty of experience in World Championship Rallies will be in a Toyota Celica GT4.

From Europe we have the French Eric Macaire / Yves Macaire in a Ford Focus. Entries from other foreign crews are expected.

All these teams have the enough experience in gravel rallies, so the Mexican crews will not have it easy and they will have to give their best to keep the triumph of the XV edition on Mexican soil.

The Rally America is an event organized by the French Automobile Club of Mexico (CAF) and 2001 will be the 15th edition of the Rally. The Event will take place on Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on April 27-29 as a FIA Sanctioned and Observed event.
