Triple Australian Formula 2 Champion, Brett Middleton, looks set to leave the category that has been his home for over 10 years, the Sydney based driver preparing to make one of the most difficult decisions of his rallying career.

After competing in a Group A Honda Civic VTi-R for the past 3 seasons, Middleton found the car uncompetitive throughout the 1999 ARC following the introduction of F2 'Kit Cars' by Volkswagen Motorsport Australia for Simon Evans and Jason Slot, and with the prospect of further 'Kit Cars' in 2000 a decision is nigh.
