With only one round of the Irish Rallycross championship remaining, its come down to a straight battle between John McCluskey & Dermot Carnegie for the title.

After five rounds the two are locked at 74 points each after McCluskey won the latest round in Mondello park on Sunday November 14th.

Both drivers now know that whoever wins the next round in two weeks time will be crowned 2004 Irish champion. McCluskey is on a crest of a wave at the moment after a series of excellent results which included his debut win in the British championship round in Mondello. However multiple champion Carnegie will be tough to beat as the experienced Killiney man has been in the position before.

Brace yourself for the battle! Mondello Sunday November 28th
