22.03.2010. Baratec's driver Gabriel Pozzo claimed his third victory in a row after obtaining a great victory over Federico Villagra (Ford Fiesta S2000) in the 30th. Rally Argentina, second round of the Argentine Rally Championship and IRC's third presentation.

Pozzo (Subaru Impreza) and Villagra were also the best local representatives fighting for the fourth position in the overall standing (IRC) in each stage in an incredible showdown which was decided in the last kilometers of the race.

Pozzo took over Villagra's position in the "Cosquin - Villa Allende" stage, taking advantage of some loss of power in the Fiesta engine of Villagra, who finally came 10,3s adrift.

"I'm very happy with the victory although I didn't imagine beat Villagra who was competing with a more powerful car. I have always beard in mind the points for the Argentine Championship, but I decided to run the risk and during the second day I went after Federico" expressed Pozzo.

The podium for the Argentine Championship was completed by the Tango driver Nicolas Madero (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X). In the rest of the classes, Agustin Elvira (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) was the best of the N4 Light, whereas Elder Tasca (Subaru Impreza) got the first position of the Super R.

In the 2WD classes, Luis Gius (Ford Ka) dominated followed by Alicia Reina (fiat Palio).

The next round will be held in the southern city of Esquel, in the province of Chubut, late in April (23-25).
