Australian rallying is in mourning today after the deaths of three competitors during events on Saturday, February 20th.

Two competitors were killed in the all bitumen Rally Tasmania on Saturday morning, while on Saturday night, a driver in the first round of the Victorian Club Rally Series lost his life.

In Tasmania, a brand new Subaru Impreza WRX STi, driven by Vaughan Guthrie and co-driven by current Tasmanian Champion Navigator, Victor Huddlestone left the road and hit a tree, immediately killing both occupants.

In Victoria, current Victorian Novice Champion Steve Poore (42) died after his Subaru Legacy RS Turbo went off the road backwards and hit a tree. His co-driver received only minor injuries.

Australian Rallysport News, Digital Rally and all rally people send their sincere condolences to the family and friends of those killed in such tragic circumstances.
