Haddon happy after Sunseeker success.

Andrew Haddon and co-driver Mark Andrews finished Saturdays Rallye Sunseeker in second place in the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evolution challenge. They also took third in their class of 27 starters in their Rallispec prepared, Kumho tyres backed, EVO 6.

"I'm delighted to have shown that we can be contenders in this series despite my relative lack of experience on gravel. I still need to keep climbing my steep learning curve if I'm going to match the pace of series leader Jeremey Easson in the woods. But after three fastest class times from 6 stages on the Tarmac, I'm confident that we challenge for a win on the Manx." commented Haddon.

"Andrew was very committed and made very few errors," said Andrews, his recently recruited co-driver, " We worked exceptionally well together. I expect him to be able to improve his pace as he gets used to this car on gravel towards the end of the season. Combined with the quality of servicing and standard of car preparation we get from Rallispec; that makes us a force to be reckoned with."

The Essex based Rallispec team will be flying the flag for Kuhmo, who are title sponsors of the National Rally Championship, exclusively using their tyres on every round of the series. The next event and second round of the Evo-Challenge will be fought out in the demanding forests of North Wales on the Astra Stages on April 12th.

Kuhmo Tyres manufacture road and competition tyres for all applications. See their website at www.kumhomotorsports.com
