Ed Ordynski rolls out of the Rally of Adelaide.

Ed Ordynski and co driver Alison Drower severely damaged the Ralliart Mitsubishi Evo 3 when they had a slow roll out of the rally this morning. Everything was going well in the slippery conditions until we rolled.' related a disappointed Ed.

The rain had made the roads more than a little slippery, and although we were not going 100%, we were trying. We just got out o the wheel ruts and sideways on a downhill stretch, and the car tripped up on something in the long grass. It was a slow roll, about 60km/h, and the car is a mess!'

Ed and co driver Alison Drower, from Channel 10, were leading early on until the roll. 'Alison was doing an excellent job - I was not hanging around out there.'

With two stages left to run today (Sunday) WA's Roman Watkins and Victorian co driver Paul Flintoft lead the event, with SA's David Adams and Jim Stewart second in another Impreza. Spencer Lowndes and Claire Parker had been third in their Evo 5 for much of the rally until they were put out this morning by a hole in their gearbox.
