NICK MAJORS QUOTES:

On Racing in the SPEED World Challenge Series:

"This is the highest level of racing in North America that is accessible to privateers. The competition level is so high, with the Woodhouses and the Archers and the Ron Fellows of the world. It's a great opportunity to race and compare your skills with names like that. When you run in a local series, as a club racer, you're always getting better. And to be able to do so with the field of drivers that are represented in SPEED World Challenge is a great opportunity. Its the highest level of racing in North America accessible to privateers. And that's where I want to be. "

On Racing the Toronto Street Course:

"The Toronto course is a wonderful street circuit with some long straightaways and tricky corners. The pavement changes from asphalt to concrete, which makes some of the corners extremely slippery, so it presents quite a challenge there. Also there are concrete walls as opposed to runoff areas in every corner, so if you make a mistake, your going into a concrete wall instead of just running off course like one would at a normal road course track, so there is a higher consequence for making a mistake. That makes it ever more challenging. Also, because it's a street course, there's not a lot of practice time.

Everyone is going to be showing up with limited practice time before qualifying and the race, so every lap that's been done in the past helps you to have more experience on the track."

JEFF COURTNEY QUOTES:

"I am looking forward to racing at Toronto. The street course races are fun and the Woodhouse Performance team has made some great adjustments to the car since the race at Watkins Glen, so I am looking forward to jumping into it again. We tested at MAM a week or so ago, and it went well. I am getting more and more comfortable in the Viper and am picking up speed each time I get behind the wheel. I'm hoping for another solid street course race like we had at Long Beach. We got the Sunoco Hard Charger award there for gaining the most positions throughout the race, and we'd love to better that in the street race at Toronto and post another top-10 finish for our sponsors Kenda Tires, ProMPI, MPI Coin, Karavan Trailers, Badger Tire and Wheel and Eibach Springs."
