KUNO WITTMER, 2ND IN SEASON OPENER IN SEBRING

Sebring, Florida.-- Kuno Wittmer started his World Challenge season on a high note with second place in the 2008 maiden race in Sebring while the Realtime Acuras wrapped all three podium spots. The 24-year old driver who hails out of Montreal, Quebec set the pace in both practice session when he topped the charts. But Brazilian teammate Pierre Kleinubing was fastest in qualifying with Wittmer second and team leader Peter Cunningham in third. In the 45-minute race, the Realtime trio lead all the way and kept the same order until the stripe. Third in the 2007 final standings, Wittmer confirms his intentions to vie for victory in each round and contend for the title.

"What a great week the Realtime Acura team had, claimed Kuno. We had a very good off-season and test sessions with my new TSX revealed it's a very healthy car and much easier to set. The car was perfect for this track in practice sessions and Pierre (Kleinubing), Peter (Cunningham) and myself were like a freight train in qualifying with the top three sports. We had only one team order for the race and that was not to take one another off the track. The Realtime Acuras were evenly matched and we just paced ourselves to the end. We enjoy a nice lead in the manufacturers championship and we want to keep the pace all season. Personally, I was seventh last year in the season opener, so it's a better start."
