TOPEKA, Kan. (May 7, 2003) -- Officials from the Puerto Rico Grand Prix announced that this year's event will be held on a temporary circuit at Isla Grande Airport, part of the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport in San Juan. The 1.6 mile, 10-turn course will play host to the season-ending rounds of the SCCA Speed World Championships, October 24-26.

"The Isla Grande Airport should offer a wide circuit with plenty of passing areas," said Mitch Wright, SCCA Pro Racing Vice President and General Manager. "Puerto Rico offers an exotic venue to crown our Championships and a great place for our teams, drivers and officials to unwind after a long season."

The SCCA Pro Racing Speed World Challenge Championships are North America's top production-based road racing series.
