STaSIS Partners with Audi Northshore and International Autos for Generac 500 at Road America

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (August 18, 2006) -- STaSIS Motorsports is excited to announce their partnership with Audi Northshore and International Autos for the 2006 Road America World Challenge Touring Car Race.

"Fast" Freddy Baker rejoins STaSIS Motorsports for the Generac 500 at Road America. Baker will be driving his #18 STaSIS Fred Baker Audi A4 after prior commitments caused him to miss the Grand Prix of Denver.

Baker will be teamed Chip Herr in his #17 STaSIS Clear Capital Audi A4 and Piloti SPEED Touring Car Rookie of the Year leader Jeff Courtney in his #99 STaSIS Kenda/MPI Coin/KaravanTrailer Audi A4.

STaSIS Motorsports began practice today in their three B7 Audi A4 Mahle powered Quattro race cars. Chip Herr piloting his No. 17 STaSIS Clear Capital Northshore/International Autos Audi A4 took third place in practice this morning putting down a fast lap of 2:28.413 (98.190 mph). Chip Herr later commented "after the long trip from Denver, the cars and crew are working great today. We have high expectations for this weekend."

Saturday's SPEED World Challenge Touring Car race at Road America, will receive nearly live coverage on SPEED TV with the race starting at 4:30PM CDT and the television broadcast beginning 30 minutes later at 5:00 PM CDT.
