WINCHESTER, Va. (July 17, 2003) - Future Electronics will be an associate sponsor on Justin Marks' No. 80 BMW Team PTG M3 for the remainder of the 2003 SCCA Pro Racing Speed GT Championship.

"I am thrilled to announce a partnership with Future Electronics," said Marks, who joined BMW Team PTG at the series' second round at Mosport International Raceway this year. "We share a commitment to excellence that makes Future Electronics a great fit with Justin Marks and the No. 80 BMW Team PTG M3."

Having served the electronics industry for more than 32 years, Future Electronics is a world-class leader and innovator in the marketing and distribution of semiconductors and passive, interconnect and electro-mechanical components, operating from 155 offices in 35 countries in The Americas, Europe and Asia. "Future Electronics values its involvement in professional motorsports and is enthusiastic about this new partnership," said Gerry Duggan, President and COO of Future Electronics. "We wish Justin Marks success in his pursuit of victory."

With half of the 10-race season completed, Marks stands sixth in the GT driver's standings. The Chico, Calif., driver has scored a top-10 finish in every race with a season-best fourth place at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn., in May, and has been instrumental in establishing BMW's lead in the Speed GT Manufacturer's Championship.

Round 6 of the Speed GT Championship takes place on Sunday, July 27, at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., and is scheduled for broadcast on the Speed Channel on Saturday, August 2, at 5:00 pm ET.
