Autosport Designs Racing to contest the Speed World Challenge series with two Aston Martin Racing DBRS9's

Barry Wagner Chief Engineer of Autosport Designs Racing (ASDR) announced today that they will be contesting all ten rounds of the 2006 SCCA Speed World Challenge Series with two Aston Martin Racing DBRS9's.

"We are delighted to be involved with Aston Martin's return to GT racing in the United States with two SCCA World Challenge specification DBRS9's. We look forward to working closely with Aston Martin Racing during the year to ensure the DBRS9's success".

Tom Papadopoulos (USA) and Johnny Mowlem (GB) will drive the Autosport Designs Racing DBRS9's for the full 2006 World Challenge season. Tom and Johnny bring extensive experience from both sprint and endurance racing to the team.

The DBRS9 is a racing derivative of the critically acclaimed, road going DB9. This new V12 engined race car is expected to be a formidable challenger for the 2006 season.
