Competing in Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at Autobahn

Team Apex's race team will join the line up in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at Autobahn on July 24th-26th. This is the first time this experienced race team has ventured into the Star Mazda series.

The team takes great pride in participating in premiere driver development racing programs, including the Formula BMW team they currently manage. The Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear has been compared to college level athletics and other minor league sports that have a hand in training future sports stars.

Bob Kaminsky, will represent Team Apex Racing, USA in the master's series event during the Harrah's Autobahn Country Club Grand Prix 2009, presented by Mazda in Joliet, IL.

Team Apex plans to compete in the upcoming winter series, and will run a complete schedule in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear in 2010. They are currently in the process of recruiting qualified drivers.

Team Apex Racing, USA was formed in 2004 by Jim Exline and David Hunt. Having been involved in grass roots racing since 1989, the duo's team emerged as championship contenders in the 2005 Formula BMW USA series with Canadian rookie Robert Wickens (Formula 2, F3); and continued its winning heritage in 2007 with American superstar Alexander Rossi (Formula Master). Team sponsors include Wabash Capital Investments and the Indiana State University Motorsports Initiative. Apex plans to extend its efforts to include participation in the 2010 Star Mazda Championship as they continue to manage and develop the careers of future champions.
