Salman stays in control in Saudi
Riyadh. With the pace quickening on a fast drying track at Reem International Circuit, Bahrain's Sheikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa continued to set the pace in official practice for Round 5 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East today.
He was fastest in the second practice session with a time of 1:17.687, ahead of Abu Dhabi's Khaled Al Qubaisi, 1:18.395, and Saudi Arabia's defending champion, Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, 1:18.401.
The Saudi trio of Bandar Alesayi, 1:18.828, Bandar Alireza, 1:18.979, and Fahad Algosaibi, 1:19.50, completed the top six. Abu Dhabi's Musaed Al Murar, 1:20.118, was again the top rooke with the seventh fastest time.
