The Curse of the Onboard Camera...

David Wall has a had a disastrous third and final race of the most anticipated round of the Carrera Cup Australia held at the home of Australian motorsport, Mount Panorama.

The start of the race was good for David and he moved up another two places, building on his fight through the field in the previous two races.

After qualifying in 4th place, David was hit in the first race spinning him and dropping him to the rear of the field. He worked his way back to finish the second race in 8th place.

David had jumped up to 6th place on the opening lap of the third race when he was hit again. The car did not appear to have received substantial damage until the following corner when David discovered he had a puncture.

The hit had damaged the tyre's valve causing the puncture. David limped from turn two, back into the pits to change the tyre, coming out just in front of the leaders.

David finished the race in 13th position.

After the race David jokingly put his bad weekend down his car carrying the on-board camera.

"Every time I have the on-board camera in my car it seems to bring me bad luck!" David said after the third race.

"I guess it just wasn't meant to be this weekend. I am very disappointed though as I love racing here -- the challenge the circuit offers drivers is amazing.

"Next round is Indy which will be just as challenging -- hopefully we can finish the season off with a much better result than this weekend!"
