An historical week-end in Valencia.

Telefonica World Series and FIA Series Formula Nissan 2000 first collective tests will take place in Valencia on 12, 13 and 14 of April. The Dallara Nissan SN01 (415 Hp) and the Formula Nissan 2000 (230 Hp) will gather this weekend. The Young Motorsports ÉLite. Justin Wilson and Franck Montagny, two aces for the Spanish Team, Racing Engineering.

Barcelona, 9 April 2002 It will be an historical day in Valencia. The Telefonica World Series by Nissan, the most ambitious motorsports project start its engines this same weekend in Cheste (Valencia).

World Series and FIA Series Formula Nissan 2000 will gather more than 30 drivers amongst the two categories. British driver Justin WILSON, former FIA F3000 Champ will be on duty in his very first contact with the powerful Dallara cars. Wilson has joined recently the Spanish Team Racing Engineering alongside the Frenchman Franck Montagny, winner of the 2001 Formula Nissan edition. (Montagny will be on duty only in Jarama (24-25 April), as he will be racing in Portugal this weekend. The Indian driver Narain Kartikheyan has also been confirmed in the Italian team RC Motorsport for a very disputed World Series 2002.

The World Series car is the new Dallara Nissan SN01. Only the F1 cars are faster in Europe. The car fits a 3,000 cc Nissan engine featuring the most advanced technology.

An impressive car, that features similar dimensions to an F-1, fitted with Michelin Slicks. Designed and produced exclusivity for the series in the Clermont-Ferrand headquarters.

But the FIA Serie Formula Nissan 2000 tests won't lack in some good names either. The Italian Mateo Bobbi, official test driver for Minardi, will be racing for the Italians Vergani Racing. The winning team will be present in the test with its three drivers. Alongside the Spanish rookie Celso Miguez, the young Mathias Lauda and Gelete Nieto are clearly well expected by the media.
