Vincec qualified a solid second, while Raimondo was ninth. Both drivers were happy with their performance, as was Ron Fellows, who is there supervising the team. "Both drivers did a fantastic job to make it to the fast group," Fellows said.

In the first of two races race two will run on Sunday Vincec was in a race long battle for second and third. Vincec came home in third a podium in his first race.

Raimondo, from ninth on the grid had a little more work to do. He moved up in the first half of the race before having a half spin in turn one that send him down the order. Raimondo rebounded to finish 15th.

"This is a very competitive series, with very competitive racing," Fellows said. "Both drivers are making progress each time out, and Road Atlanta is a very demanding track. Mike and Gianmarco continue to improve, and at a track like Road Atlanta, just getting on the gas a split second sooner will really make the lap times drop. Overall, I am very happy with both their performances today and I am looking forward to race two tomorrow."
