(MONTREAL, Quebec) January 23, 2002 - Skip Barber Racing School, LLC today announces the addition of Le Circuit Mont Tremblant in St. Jovite, Quebec to its extensive line up of top racetracks in North America. Beginning in the spring of 2002, Skip Barber will operate its world famous programs including the cornerstone Skip Barber Three Day Racing School at the former Grand Prix venue.

The Dodge/Skip Barber Driving School is to begin operating programs later in the year. The Skip Barber Race Series, North America's largest arrive and drive amateur race series will also bring the excitement of affordable and hassle-free racing to Canada. In all, nearly 50 track days are expected to be scheduled for 2002.

Skip Barber Racing School's arrival to Mont Tremblant culminates a long held ambition by Skip Barber himself to operate schools north of the border. Thanks in part to the support of DaimlerChrysler Canada, the ambition is now reality. Skip Barber Racing School began operations in 1975.

"I've held the desire to run schools in Canada for a very long time. Unfortunately all of the ingredients were never in place at the right time," says company founder Barber. "For the first time everything is in place. We have the right track, the right manufacturer support and the right people leading the project. There is such a passion and enthusiasm for racing in Canada and Quebec in particular. We are thrilled that we will be a part of activating that enthusiasm at the grassroots level."

The programs are welcomed and supported by DaimlerChrysler Canada. In addition to all 200 racecars in the Skip Barber fleet being powered by a Dodge motor, an array of Dodge passenger vehicles are used in the various programs including the 450 horsepower Viper GTS ACR.

"We are very pleased to partner with the Skip Barber organization in Canada," said Ronald B. Smith, Vice President- Marketing, DaimlerChrysler Canada, Inc. "This new partnership will provide an incredible opportunity for DaimlerChrysler to show how capable, reliable and enjoyable our products are -even in the extremely challenging environment of track testing."

Skip Barber is the world's largest racing and driving organization. The Skip Barber Racing School operates at over 20 of North America's premier racetracks including the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Sebring International Raceway, Road America, Lime Rock Park and Daytona International Speedway. The Dodge/Skip Barber Driving School operates exclusively from the five aforementioned locations in addition to Mont Tremblant later this year.

Many of the world's most famous racecar drivers have received training at Skip Barber. Among the illustrious list of graduates is CART's second most winning driver (behind his father) Michael Andretti, four-time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon and former Indy 500 and CART Champion and now Formula 1 superstar Juan Pablo Montoya. In 2001 Skip Barber Racing School was named the Official Racing School of CART.

The 2.65-mile, 15-turn road course at Le Circuit Mont Tremblant has recently undergone a complete renovation bringing it up to full FIA specification. This classic road circuit nestled in the mountains northwest of Montreal features an intoxicating blend of fast and slow corners mixing with dramatic elevation changes.

Dodge, a division of Daimler Chrysler, has been the official vehicle and motor partner of Skip Barber since 1995.
