DENINO WINS $10,000 RACING SCHOLARSHIP

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported and guided me in racing over the past several years. I recently competed in the 2008 Skip Barber Karting Shoot-out, a competition in which the Skip Barber Racing School evaluates 50 drivers and awards scholarship money in various amounts following a four day evaluation process. At the conclusion of the competition, I was selected as one of six individuals to receive scholarship money towards supporting my education as a driver.

I will use the $10,000 scholarship to offset some of the cost of competing in the 2008 Skip Barber National Series. The first race of the season takes place at Sebring International Raceway March 12-14, supporting the 56th Annual Mobil One Twelve Hours of Sebring.

I would like to thank Mike Macek, Mike Simon, and Kirk Simon for getting me started racing go-karts, as well as my family for supporting me in my endeavors. I would also like to thank Barnes Paving, Triple Jeah, PitFit Training, and now The Skip Barber Racing School for their support. Thank you to all of the Skip Barber staff, mechanics, and instructors. I could not have accomplished this without all of the mentors and supporters who have helped me over the years. Thank you!
