Vorrath and Rossetto Wins Set the Stage for $100,000 Shoot-out

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (Aug.20) - At Road America, Jordy Vorrath won the first race and Andy Rossetto the second in rounds 11 and 12 of the 14-race Skip Barber National Championship Presented by RACER. It was Vorrath's fourth victory of the year and Rossetto's second. Championship points leader Gerardo Bonilla finished fourth and fifth, respectively, and heads to the final two races of the year at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Sept.6-7 with a 13-point margin over Vorrath and 19 over Cole Nelson. The champion earns a $100,000 title bonus.

Both races were thick with action and saw multiple lead changes among the first half-dozen drivers, and the combined margins of victory was just .255 of a second: Vorrath over Nelson by .222 in Friday's round 11, and Rossetto over Nelson again on Saturday by just .033 (Vorrath was third).
