The Barber Dodge Pro Series concluded another round of pre-season testing in at Sebring International Raceway, and Matt Plumb emerged with the fastest time around the test circuit after the two days. His lap of 1:03.89 sec. is unofficially a new Barber Dodge Pro Series testing record.
Plumb is returning to the Barber Dodge Pro Series as one of the early season favorites after having come on strong at the latter part of his rookie season. He finished 13th overall in 1999 highlighted by a podium appearance at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

According to driver coach Jim Pace, all of the drivers put in consistent laps, accruing miles and experience in the Barber Dodge 98E. Lap times for the drivers fell over both days of the testing
