The 2003 Barber-Dodge Pro Series Scholarship Shootout concluded its activities at the historic Sebring International Raceway just recently with 18-year old Joe D'Agostino taking top honors and a $100,000 Scholarship to race in the Pro Series this upcoming year.

This year there were six drivers selected from the Formula Dodge National Championship for the Scholarship Shootout. Selected for the shootout were:
Gerardo Bonilla--Orlando, Florida
Joe D'Agostino--Plantation, Florida
Ben Freudenberg--North Bend, Oregon
Brian Frisselle--Kihei, Hawaii
Philippe Gelinas--Grand-Mere, Quebec
Matt Jaskol--Las Vegas, Nevada

After two days of intense competition D'Agostino was given the top honor and had this to say "This was a great day for me and I can't thank the Skip Barber organization enough. They have supported me right from the beginning with their ladder system and in less than one year of racing cars my dream to drive the pro car has become a reality".

D'Agostino wishes to thank all of his sponsors, Arai, Corsa, Kart Mini, MG Tires, Dodge, Michelin, Skip Barber Racing School and all of his personal sponsors.
