Race Notes: Frisselle started the weekend exceptionally strong, taking his first Formula Dodge Western Series win. The young rookie from Hawaii led eight of the sixteen laps, overcome at one point by experienced driver, Tim Traver. Frisselle reclaimed the lead to take the checkered flag. Frisselle stated, "I am thrilled to have had such a strong race today, taking my first series win!"

Race Notes: Frisselle came out strong on Sunday's race, leading ten of the sixteen laps. He lost the lead in lap traffic in turn four, but was still able to finish strong in P2. "Overall, this was a great race. The competition was tough and the race was close, so I am pleased with my P2 finish."

Race Notes: Frisselle raced for a second time on Saturday, in group 3, finishing strong in P2. The rookie overcame mechanical difficulties and drove a solid race, claiming a podium finish.

Race Notes: Frisselle's last race of the weekend was perhaps his best. He drove wheel to wheel with Mechanic-of-the-Year Richard Schmidt and set the fastest lap of the weekend, a 1:40.364. Frisselle stated, "I was really excited to be able to run with a more experienced driver and challenge him for the lead. I feel great about my performance this weekend; I now feel confident that I have a chance at taking the Western Series Championship."
