Friday 22nd March 2002: Phil Andrews, the Birmingham-based former Formula 3 and 3000 racer, has signed to compete in a Benetton-Judd in this seasons NDS EuroBOSS Series. The car will be race prepared by Banbury-based Team Ascari. Phil, who last season raced in selected rounds of the FIA Sportscar Championship, enters the NDS EuroBOSS Series as a potential front runner and recognises the new look Series for European Big Open Single-Seaters represents a very positive career move.

The NDS EuroBOSS Series caters for all powerful open wheel single-seater racing cars of an unlimited specification including ex F1, F3000 and Indy Cars. The 2002 Series commences at Donington Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend with the race taking place on Monday 6th May. A total of eight rounds are planned for the 2002 NDS EuroBOSS Series, including races in Ireland, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany and the Czech Republic.
