RPM Racing Will Start a New Series in 2002 With Three Different Categories: 125 HP, 210 HP And 410 HP!!!!
Barcelona, 24 October 2001 - After 4 years of success, RPM Racing will start a three Single Seater Series in 2002, including the so-long-waited new Single Seater Series with 410 HP power designed by Dallara. The Super Nissan V6 will be part of a programm also including a 125 CV Serie (the new Renault Tatuus), wich will be the Formula Junior 1.600 cc., and the Formula Nissan 2.0 liter Series. Today, RPM Racing has confirmed rumours that linked the Spanish Company to the three of the top Football Teams in the Spanish League: Real Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
The Circuit of Valencia will held the Final Meeting of the Open Telefonica Single Seater Series. Franck Montagny and his team, Epsilon by Graff, are both leading in the overall, but Scheckter has prooved to be very perfomant in Valencia, were he has win a couple of times. SCHECKTER will be the winner of the Under 21 Category, were he is the leader by far.
Again, this Title will mean a few laps in the PS001, the European Minardi F1 car.
The Italian Andrea Belicchi, third in the Series, will be receiving the Riccardo Moscatelli Spezial Trophy, in memory of the Italian driver, dead in 1999.
FROM BRITISH F3 TO THE OPEN TELEFONICA SERIES
Andy Priaulx, sixth in the British F3 Championship, will make his debut in the Open Telefonica Series with team GD Racing, replacing Nicolas Filiberti.
