April, 11.- The Portuguese sports channel SPORT TV and RPM RACING, Open Telefonica Spanish organizer, have reached an agreement which enables the broadcaster to offer on a live or deferred basis full coverage of all 2001 Open Telefonica racing events.

Next event of series, scheduled 22nd April at the Autodromo Fernanda Pires da Silva (Estoril, Portugal), will be broadcast live on SPORT TV at 11.00 and 13.00 local time.

SPORT TV, which will be producing the signal, offered highlights of the series last season. Now the channel is betting hard for a championship that gathers together a bunch of very remarkable young car racing "stars", and three drivers from Portugal: Manuel Giao, Paulo Alho and Ricardo Megre.
