NA-F2000: Watkins Glen race quotes

Peter Walsh, ...

Peter Walsh, #44 Key Motorsports Van Diemen Ford -- Winner -- Before the race started I just wanted to finish on the podium because the guys were going so quick in qualifying. I got a good start and I got by Marc and ran up the back straight. I got a little break when they battled for second until the caution put the pressure back on. I got two good restarts and I held on to the lead. I'm very happy and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's race.

Ian lacy, #6 WorldBestBuy.Com Van Diemen Ford -- Second Place-- It surprised me that I was in second at the end of the race, but we knew our car was really good on the first couple of laps. We set it up that way figuring that there would be some yellows here. On the longer runs the car wasn't quite as great and once we fell out of the draft it was hard to get back in.

Marc-Antoine Camirand, #96 Key Motorsports Van Diemen Ford -- Third Place -- I had a good car at the beginning of the race and after the tire pressure came in I had a bit of a problem with the car. I wanted to finish the race first and I couldn't make a clean pass. So I preferred to stay in third to make up some points. That's a pretty good run for me and that makes me happy.

Mike Durand, #71 Allaire Van Diemen Ford -- B Winner - There was a lot going on out there obviously with all of the cars on the side of the track. Our number one goal was to win the ACC and fortunately, Tom Dyer who was leading the series had an incident out there and it took a little pressure off us. It was one of the only times we have been up front and I figured it was a good time to take advantage of the situation.

Aaron Justice #32 Forsythe/Indeck/Torco/Van Diemen Ford -- Points Leader After Crashing Coming Out Of The Inner Loop During Saturday's Race -- This was an important race. We were on the pole, and we needed to capitalize on that. I was going for a pass for the lead on the outside of the back straight-away, and I was going to fast into the inner loop. I couldn't make that first left and spun out.

Tom Dyer, #2 CycleShack/BelHelments/Paladin/Carbir Ford -- Points Leader In The B Class After Crashing In The Esses During Saturday's Race -- I got hit in the left rear by another car. I'm not sure what he was doing outside there. Turned me into the guardrail.
