Virginia International Raceway SCCA Pro Racing weekend cancelled.
TOPEKA, Kan. (January 3, 2003)--SCCA Pro Racing announced today that the SCCA Pro Racing event, originally scheduled for April 25-27 at VIRginia International Raceway, has been cancelled. The event was to have included the SPEED World Challenge, Formula SCCA North American Championship, Pro Spec Racer series and Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship.
"Unfortunately, we were not able to reach a consensus with the promoter on a restructured sanctioning agreement," said Mitch Wright, SCCA Pro Racing Vice President and General Manager. "We very much enjoyed running at the track last season and look forward to racing there again in the future."
Replacement dates are in the works and will be announced at a later date. For more information on SCCA Pro Racing, please visit www.sccapro.com.
