CRAIGO JOINS LIBERTY MOTORSPORTS FOR REMAINDER OF F2000 CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES SEASON

Colorado standout will make his series debut with the Illinois team at Mosport

ROCKFORD, ILL. (June 8, 2010) - Liberty Motorsports has added another quality racer to its 2010 driver line-up with the addition of American Zach Craigo. The Colorado native, who has limited previous pro Formula Ford 2000 experience, will drive with the Illinois-based squad in the remaining 10 rounds of the F2000 Championship Series, commencing with Rounds Five and Six on June 12-13, at Mosport International Raceway.

With the goal of winning races and challenging for the series title in its first full-season of pro Formula Ford 2000 competition, Liberty Motorsports is pleased to add Craigo to its talented driver line-up. The 24 year-old joins the multi-car squad following a highly successful test at Road America, where Craigo and the Liberty Motorsports crew quickly bonded and established a rapport both in and out of the cockpit. Piloting the No. 85 Rocky Mountain Medical Lasers Inc./Strahan Colorado Whiskey/Liberty Motorsports Van Diemen, Craigo will contest the remaining 10 races on the 2010 F2000 Championship Series calendar, partnering Tim Kautz and Bobby Caldwell under the Liberty Motorsports awning.

"Helping him make the jump to the pro level is what our team is all about^aour experienced crew will help him get the most out of his F2000 Van Diemen and finish up front."

"Chuck, Brian and the whole team have made me feel right home already and I can't wait to reward them with some great results. I'm sure they will give me a car capable of running up front and I'm looking forward to making the most of the opportunity."

Based in Lone Tree, Colo., Craigo enters the highly competitive F2000 Championship Series with Liberty Motorsports having previously achieved good success in both the karting and junior formula car ranks. First getting behind the wheel at the age of 10, Craigo won several Colorado State karting championship titles and the 2002 United States Amateur 125 Shifter Kart Championship title before making the move to cars. Racing in the Formula Continental class in SCCA Club Racing competition, Craigo immediately made an impression, being named the 2006 Colorado Region National Rookie Driver of the Year and earning the Ron Hunter award. One year later he captured the Colorado Region FC National crown. In 2008, Craigo made his pro racing debut via a pair of F2000 Championship series races at Road America, narrowly missing a top-10 finish in the 35+ car field. He additionally ran a limited SCCA Club Racing campaign, highlighted by a fourth place finish in the prestigious June Sprints. The recent graduate of University of Northern Colorado is currently the Formula Continental track record holder at both Miller Motorsports Park in Utah and High Plains Raceway in Colorado.

Craigo commences his 2010 F2000 Championship Series campaign with Liberty Motorsports this coming weekend (June 12-13), with Rounds Five and Six at Mosport International Raceway just outside of Toronto, Ont.
