KYLE MARCELLI IS VOTED #2 F2000 DRIVER

Barrie, Ontario (January 4th 2008) - Young race car driver Kyle Marcelli, a rising star in motorsports has spent his winter months training hard in preparation for another strong season behind the wheel in 2009. Just recently the talented teenager was voted the #2 F2000 driver by one of North Americas leading formula car news website www.eformulacarnews.com .

Wrapping up a successful 2008 campaign competing in the very competitive U.S F2000 championship series where Marcelli, a fierce championship contender finished 3rd overall in his rookie debut. However, if not for some errors by other drivers early in the season, Marcelli would have been given the title winner more of a challenge.

Marcelli recently held his annual year end party where all sponsors, media, the sports key influencers as well as friends and family are in attendance. This year a special appearance was made by the mayor of Barrie where he presented Kyle with an award to recognize his accomplishments on an international stage. "I was very pleased to accept this honour from the mayor of behalf City of Barrie, their support means a lot to me and is a real inspiration" Says Marcelli.

The winter months are tough on any race car driver as all they can think about is getting back behind the wheel. For this teenager it has been about building upon his past foundation for a successful future. Kyle Marcelli has been working hard not only in the gym but also with current and prospect sponsor partners and local media relations. Kyle and his partners are currently working on his 2009 program which is shaping up to be very exciting. His plans will be revealed shortly.
