Jeff Milburn Racing will run two cars in Formula Ford ZETEC Cooper Series Championship

February 15, 2005, Dallas, Texas - Jeff Milburn welcomes both Moses Smith and Russell Walker to the Jeff Milburn Racing Team. Smith and Walker will be teammates with Jeff Milburn Racing and will soon begin preparations for the 2005 season. The Milburn Racing team was a competitor in Formula Ford Zetec in 2004 and with a year of valuable experience behind them in the Zetec series the Milburn team has positioned themselves to take a run at the championship in 2005.

Moses Smith, a resident of Chandler, Arizona, finished in first place in 2002 in both the SCCA SoPac Formula Mazda and the Star Mazda West Championship. In 2003 he finished a strong third in the North American Championship with two first place finishes and two second place finishes. Smith began racing in 1988 and lists his favorite places to race as Infineon Raceway and Road Atlanta.

Walker, 20, had his debut in the Formula Ford Zetec Series at Road America last season starting in 28th place, working his way through the field to finish in 16th place. He looks forward to taking this experience and the experience he gained in 2004 in the Southwest Formula Mazda Series, to Milburn Racing. Walker is presently a student and a resident of Dallas, Texas.

Jeff Milburn, owner of Jeff Milburn racing, has a long history in the sport of racing. He was previously a fuel man in the NHRA before he teamed an open wheel racing program. Located in Dallas, Texas, the Milburn team spent two years in Formula Ford racing before making the jump to Formula Ford Zetec in 2004.
