MINNEAPOLIS, MN. (May 21, 2009) -- JDC MotorSports resumes its F2000 Championship Series campaign on Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25), with Rounds Three and Four of the program taking place at the historic Lime Rock Park. The Minnesota-based squad enters the second event of the season as one of the teams to beat following American Chris Miller's inaugural series win in Round Two and a good series debut by Mexican Alejandro Munoz.

Over a month after starting the 2009 season at Virginia International Raceway, the JDC MotorSports duo of Miller and Munoz return to the cockpits of their Van Diemen F2000 cars at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. The shortest (1.53-mile) and one of the fastest tracks on the F2000 Championship Series calendar, the historic road course will offer the latest challenge for the two up-and-coming drivers. Despite neither driver having previously raced at Lime Rock Park, both are confident that they can achieve success and exit the weekend with valuable points and potentially a win.

Miller commenced his second season of F2000 Championship Series competition with an impressive showing at VIR in early April. Piloting the No. 85 Miller Milling/Redline Oil/JDC MotorSports Van Diemen RF06/Zetec car, the Edina, Min., driver was among the leaders throughout testing and practice, before earning a front-row starting place for Round One and capturing the win from the pole position in Round Two.

A newcomer to Formula Ford 2000 competition, Munoz steadily got more and more comfortable behind the wheel with each passing session in the season-opening doubleheader. Forced to deal with mixed conditions, the No. 96 Black Lion Racing/Redline Oil/JDC MotorSports Van Diemen RF01/Zetec race pilot learned a great deal, which is sure to help him when the action gets underway in Connecticut.

As part of the traditional Memorial Day race event at Lime Rock Park, the JDC MotorSports drivers will first roll on-course at Lime Rock Park on Friday (May 22) via a pair of practice sessions. Day two will feature an early afternoon qualifying session, followed by Round Three late in the day. After the traditional day off on Sunday, the racing action resumes on Monday (May 25), with a morning qualifying session and Round Four just prior to the lunch break.
