EUROSPORT retransmits LIVE both races

Barcelona, 4 July 2002 - The Autódromo di Monza (Italy) will host the fourth meeting of the Telefónica World Series by Nissan. It will be the UNIQUE round to take place in Italy, featuring all three categories.

Formula One driver Ricardo Zonta (Gabord Competición) is currently leading the World Series, after achieving both second and third positions in Albacete. The Belgium driver Bas Leinders (KTR) is now the second driver in the overall, and the Frenchman, Franck Montagny (Racing Engineering), moved to the third place of the standings after a struggling weekend race. Ivan Bellarosa will be the single Italian driver taking part in the Series 415 HP.

EUROSPORT will be doing LIVE retransmissions of both World Series races on Sunday.

Monza is a keen meeting for the five Italian teams currently participating in the Telefónica World Series by Nissan.

Matteo Bobbi, the current leader of the Formula Nissan 2000, Andrea Belicchi, Giorgio Sernagiotto and the new arrived Michele Rugolo (Cibiemme Team) will have all the support of the tiffosi at their home race. BCN Motorsport, the Formula Nissan 2000 team owned by Enrique Scalabroni, will have another car, drived by Carlos Martín.

The Spaniard Adrián Vallés is the favourite driver in the Spanish Formula Junior 1600 Championship, after winning five races (of a total of 6). Leo Orecchioni (Team Cibiemme) is currently in the third position of the overall, and the single Italian driver in this unique young formula.
