Mathias Lauda third fastest driver today in the FIA Series Formula Nissan 2000.
Madrid, 26 April 2002 After the impressive roaring of WORLD SERIES Dallara Nissan cars yesterday in El Jarama, where the Spaniard driver Angel Burgueño topped the list of times lapping 1.23.157, the FIA Series Formula Nissan 2000 cars jumped in the truck for the celebration of the Second Collective Tests.
Abel Fajas, a young driver born in the same town of Marc Gené, the Spaniard F-1 star, was the quickest driver in the scratch times (1.28.641), followed by the Spanish Santiago Porteiro (1.28.815). Bobbi(Vergani Racing) was third overall, but he didn't show up this afternoon as preferred to join the Minardi Team in Barcelona.
In today's afternoon session, Mathias Lauda was the third quickest driver, continuing to show good progression in his first ever competition Season.
The TELEFÓNICA WORLD SERIES BY NISSAN are ready to face his major motorsports challenge. The competition program will start the next 12 of May, in the Circuit of Valencia.
