TITAN POKER ON FORMULAMASTER.NET AHEAD OF VALENCIA ROUNDS

As International Formula Master (IFM) prepares for its two Spanish rounds at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia this weekend, online poker site Titan Poker has joined the ranks of IFM supporters.

The world-renowned poker website is offering a $500 bonus to www.formulamaster.net visitors, giving fans of the Series a chance to try their hand at their exceptional selection of popular poker tournaments and online poker games.

Reigning champion Chris van der Drift in Valencia last year

Racing for IFM resumes this weekend in Spain, where reigning champion Chris van der Drift claimed both victories last year. With the Series' title chase wide open, contenders will be hoping to emulate the young New-Zealander's feat.

Drivers' classification leader Fabio Leimer is only two points ahead of 16-year-old rookie Alessandro Kouzkin, who has his eyes firmly set on winning, despite having no previous experience of the track.

"I have never raced at Valencia before," said Kouzkin who won his first international single-seater race in Pau two weeks ago with Cram Competition. "But I didn't know Pau either and it was more than ok in the end! I hope to have a good result here too; we will see. Racing on a track is very different to a street circuit."

Fellow rookie Pål Varhaug could also do well; the Norwegian is currently third in the overall classification and leads the rookies standings, following a double third place at the opening 2009 IFM rounds in France.

International Formula Master's Spanish race weekend gets underway this Friday with two free practice sessions, followed by qualifying and race one on Saturday, and race two on Sunday. Both rounds will be shown live on Eurosport as follows:

Race 1: Saturday 30 May 2009, from 11:00 GMT live on Eurosport 2 & Asia Pacific
Race 2: Sunday 31 May 2009, from 08:00 GMT live on Eurosport International & Asia Pacific
