AR MOTORSPORT TO TEST IN VALENCIA

AR Motorsport will take part in next week's official Formula Master test in Valencia, Spain, with drivers Kelvin Snoeks and Mihai Marinescu.

The team joins the Formula Master Series from the Netherlands and will be running one car over the two official test days on 1-2 March. Driving duties will be shared between Dutch driver Snoeks and Romanian Marinescu.

Marinescu drove for Italian team Pro Motorsport in 2008, gaining Formula Master race experience at the last rounds in Monza where he claimed a podium finish with a third place.

"We are proud to welcome a Dutch outfit to the Series in the shape of AR Motorsport," said Formula Master General Manager Alessandro Alunni Bravi. "This underlines once again the international reach of our Series.

"We're looking forward to another great Formula Master season, with improved TV coverage and event format as well as two events with the Formula 1 Championship, and which starts next week with our first official test."

The Valencia test marks the beginning of the 2009 Formula Master season, which sees teams gather for four official two-day tests throughout March and April, before the racing begins in Pau, France, on 16-17 May.

Next week's test will see the Formula Master teams run with 2009 update kits for the first time, which include a new engine cover and a redesigned rear wing as well as air brake ducts and a new exhaust system 4-2-1 combined with new engine software.
