ADM's debut season finished at Monza

ADM Motorsport finished their debut season in International Formula Master in 5th position in the teams championship. Norbert Siedler, Frankie Provenzano and Michele Caliendo left the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza empty- handed but, nevertheless, their team principal Renato Melchioretto is extremely happy with the performance of his team since midseason.

Renato Melchioretto (Team Principal): "To start with the positive aspects I have to congratulate Mauro Sipsz and his team, as they have done a great job in their first year and established the series as a one of the most professional junior categories in the world. Our TV package with Eurosport the partnership with WTCC and the strong competition we had will definitely increase the interest of young drivers. Generally speaking, and apart from the final race weekend, I am very proud of the job we did and especially since Norbert Siedler's comeback we have been competitive on every race track. Fairly speaking it would have been the same here in Monza but we made some small mistakes that spoiled our qualifying. When you are in the middle of the grid it is always a lottery and in that lottery luck was not on our side. We are already looking forward to starting our testing programme for the second year of International Formula Master that will provide young drivers with even stronger options for their future."

Norbert Siedler (car #41, 6th overall in Drivers Championship): "After four podiums in a row this final race weekend was definitely a little disappointing. We found not enough slipstream in qualifying, had some little problems with the braking balance and in my opinion this was the reason why we were not able to show our true potential. Sunday's race was a real desaster for us, as we were all involved in incidents. Blamelessly, but that's just a part of motorsport. In closing I want to thank ADM Motorsport for this great opportunity to race their car for five race weekends. It is one of the best teams and a great family."

Frankie Provenzano (car #21): "I was braking into Ascari when I saw a black car crossing the track. There was no other chance for me to avoid an accident except going through the gravel bed so I jumped over the kerbs and destroyed my rear suspension. Looking back I had some highlights and a very strong race weekend in Brands Hatch. Heading to our negotiations with potential sponsors, this was very important for me and it was good for my self confidence, as well."

Michele Caliendo (car #22): "Summarizing my first year in this professional championship I have to admit that I need a lot more experience and testing kilometres. The most important thing is, that I have improved as a driver from race to race, especially since Norbert came back to ADM Motorsport. We had a very good atmosphere within the team and I hope that we can continue this project in the International Formula Master."
